Welcome to Manchester Golf Club

The Manchester Golf Club is amongst the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in the North West of England. The course was designed by eminent architect Harry Shapland Colt in 1882, it is predominantly moorland in character but with parkland and heathland features, measuring 6491 yards and set in a vast 247 acres. The course is considered to be one of the finest tests of inland golf in the North West of England and has hosted an impressive array of events including The Lancashire Amateur Championship and PGA European Tour Qualifying School.

The club also boasts a Driving Range, Golf Performance Centre and Short Game Practise Areas all of which are open to visiting golfers. The clubhouse has superb and varied conference facilities that can be adapted to suit your event and bar and catering facilities that would enhance any occasion.

Manchester Golf Club particularly prides itself on offering a friendly approach, a place where members and visitors alike can enjoy their game and leisure time in a genuinely relaxed atmosphere. Membership at Manchester Golf Club

A full range of memberships are available at Manchester Golf Club. Seven Day Membership for men is currently full but we can also offer Five and Six Day categories.

The entrance fee for Seven Day membership is the equivalent of one year's subscription (currently £966), payable in full on admittance. No entrance fee is payable in respect of any other category of membership.

Access and Academy Partnerships at Manchester Golf Club

Access and Academy Partnerships have been created at Manchester Golf Club to offer Friends of Hopwood and House of Golf customers the opportunity to use the fantastic facilities at the club, without becoming a member of the golf club. Access Partner £200 per annum

Access Partnership is the perfect solution for the player that would like to be associated to Manchester Golf Club without becoming a member of the club. Partners will receive:

Credit for golf at Manchester Golf Club up to the value of £200. The credit will be reduced on each occasion that a round is played. The Green Fee will be set according to On and Off-Peak times and will be rated according to the time of year. Fees will be rated from a maximum of £25 to a minimum of £10.

Access Partners can top-up their fees at anytime in increments of a minimum of £100
Access Partners will have access to the course from Monday to Friday, Sunday and Bank Holidays
No Joining fee
Use the driving range 7 days a week at current member's rate
